Book Mail! TJ Klune set from Illumicrate

I got a big bright yellow box of HAPPINESS from Illumicrate today! I was fortunate enough to be able to order their TJ Klune set when it became available back in August. I’d read both books (and if you’ve read my other posts, you know how much I love them both) and knew I had to have them in these gorgeous signed hardback editions. (I am so excited to put these on my shelf!) Take a look!

Custom Funko Pop Tutorial

 I’ve had several requests for tips on how to make a custom Funko Pop so I thought I’d put together a step-by-step tutorial for anyone who’s interested. I’ll be using Simon & Baz as examples but just know they are rather advanced Pop-ery - not all pops are this complicated or difficult. But most of the info below is relevant to any custom pop you may want to make. Even if you're not making Simon & Baz, do read through the entire tutorial as there are relevant tips throughout. Magic & Nature in A Marvellous Light

While reading A Marvellous Light by Freya Marske, I had some thoughts about the connections between their magic and the natural world.                     The magical world Marske’s created is wonderful. It’s like nothing I’ve ever read or seen before; it’s fantastical and creative but also… down to earth at the same time?
