The year is going to be winding down soon and I was thinking about all the books I’m excited about in the coming year. A couple I’ve been able to read ARCs of, and others I’m just waiting patiently for like everyone else. ⏳ 🕰 📚

This May End Badly by Samantha Markum
Available April 12, 2022
Pranking mastermind Doe and her motley band of Weston girls are determined to win the century-long war against Winfield Academy before the clock ticks down on their senior year. But when their headmistress announces that The Weston School will merge with its rival the following year, their longtime feud spirals into chaos.
This was one I received an ARC of and I LOVED it. It’s about so much more than a high school prank war. There’s a sweet romance at the heart of it and lots of important lessons to be learned along the way. It was so fun and enjoyable!

Part of Your World by Abby Jimenez
Available April 19, 2022
The New York Times bestselling author of Life's Too Short delivers a refreshingly modern fairy tale perfect for fans of Casey McQuiston and Emily Henry.
After a wild bet, gourmet grilled-cheese sandwich, and cuddle with a baby goat, Alexis Montgomery has had her world turned upside down. The cause: Daniel Grant, a ridiculously hot carpenter who’s ten years younger than her and as casual as they come—the complete opposite of sophisticated city-girl Alexis. And yet their chemistry is undeniable.

This is for sure going to be one of my favorites of 2022! It’s the first by Abby Jimenez that I’ve read and while I knew it would likely be pretty good just based on the word of mouth her other books have gotten, it really blew me away. (You can find my review a few posts further down the blog.) I highly recommend this to any fans of smart, sexy, heartfelt romcoms.
