Ughhh this was SO GOOD. I LOVED it! I'm a little late to the game with this one seeing as it came out about a year ago but it's new to me. And it was nothing at all like I expected. It was trippy (the Groundhog Day time loop premise) and magical and fun and so so sweet. I adored both MCs; Andrew was a dream and Mae was funny and relatable. I really enjoyed the cozy cabin setting and the whole big happy family vibe. I just loved every minute of this book. Definitely one of my favorite holiday romances.

Custom Funko Pop Tutorial

 I’ve had several requests for tips on how to make a custom Funko Pop so I thought I’d put together a step-by-step tutorial for anyone who’s interested. I’ll be using Simon & Baz as examples but just know they are rather advanced Pop-ery - not all pops are this complicated or difficult. But most of the info below is relevant to any custom pop you may want to make. Even if you're not making Simon & Baz, do read through the entire tutorial as there are relevant tips throughout. Magic & Nature in A Marvellous Light

While reading A Marvellous Light by Freya Marske, I had some thoughts about the connections between their magic and the natural world.                     The magical world Marske’s created is wonderful. It’s like nothing I’ve ever read or seen before; it’s fantastical and creative but also… down to earth at the same time? The magic has many limitations and complexities, which is part of what makes it feel so much more realistic .   If you recall, William Morris was mentioned by name and his work referenced numerous times throughout the book.  Robin ignored the bustling of the upstairs maid who was clearly doing her best to prepare a room on five minutes' notice, and went to run his hands over the wallpaper.
